Most people have this idea engrained into their minds that upon graduating college, a new chapter of your life begins. Who is to say you cannot start a new chapter while still in college? Well, that is what I am doing right now. And my friends, it's gonna be a page turner.
I am a 21-year old American student who has recently embarked on a four-month journey through Italy & it's surrounding countries. I am an extremely curious girl, who is eager to study abroad not just for an education, but for self-discovery/improvement as well. With the support of my incredible family & friends, I left my country alone, knowing not one soul on the other end. In four months, I will not be alone when returning.
I am determined to take advantage of every second, minute, hour, & day here. I hope to return home with an album filled to the brim with pictures, a brain overwhelmed with memories, friendships that will last me a lifetime, and a better understanding of life & myself. I want to become a better woman, daughter, sister, and friend.

Oh, and I hope to have some authentic Italian recipes under my belt to bring back to my family, and future lucky hubby. And if God is so good, maybe a boy. But, no rush on that. ;)
